Personalised Teacher Gifts: A Desk Set They'll Actually Use

Michael's 3D World

What actually survives on a teacher's desk

Ask a teacher what they were given last December and you'll hear the same list: mugs, chocolates, candles, and at least one "Best Teacher Ever" plaque that's still in its box. Nobody is ungrateful — a desk only has so much room.

The gifts that get used are the ones that solve a daily annoyance. For most teachers that's paper: notes, reminders, parent messages, the list of kids who still owe a permission slip. So we made a desk set for exactly that.

New: Personalised Teacher Notepad & Pen Holder

It's a solid printed desk board, about 20cm × 12cm × 1.5cm, with two jobs. A recessed well holds a standard sticky-note pad so it doesn't slide around or curl at the corners, and a moulded slot grips a pen so it's always where they left it. It comes with a sticky-note pad and a pen, so it works straight out of the box.

The name is printed into the board in raised lettering — not a sticker, not a decal — and the icon is built up in coloured layers the same way. It handles daily use instead of peeling off by March.

Six designs, two text colours

Pick the icon that matches their classroom personality: Rainbow, Bee, Basketball, Apple & Heart, Star Wars or Winnie the Pooh. Each comes with either white or black raised text so the name stays readable against the print — twelve combinations in total.

How the personalisation works

On the product page there's a Name to print field. Type it exactly as it should appear — "Mrs Saunders", "Mr Hayes", "Miss T", or just a first name — up to 20 characters. Titles are fine, and so is the nickname the class actually uses. It's the one field that matters, so double-check the spelling before you check out: we print what you type.

Ordering in time for the end of the year

Every set is printed and assembled to order here in Australia, and we quote 7–10 business days before it ships. The school year finishes in December, so late November is the comfortable window — order by the end of November and it lands well before the last week of term.

If you're sorting out a whole staffroom, add each teacher's set separately so every board gets its own name.

Looking after it

The board is printed in PLA. Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap if it gets marked, and keep it out of a hot car or direct summer sun — PLA softens at temperatures a dashboard can reach. Normal desk conditions are no problem at all.

Not sure it's their thing?

Fair enough — not every teacher wants another object on the desk. A gift card lets them choose their own sign or gadget, and there are plenty of smaller options in Gifts & Accessories. If you want something printed to your own design instead, start with our custom orders guide.

The Personalised Teacher Notepad & Pen Holder is $32.95 with the pad and pen included, and Australian shipping is free on orders over $75. Pick a design and type the name on the product page.
