🏁 Three Octobers, One Mountain
1982, 1983, 1984 — Peter Brock and Larry Perkins took the HDT Commodore V8 to Mount Panorama and came home first three years running. Anyone who was there remembers the blue cars and the laurel wreath on the door; anyone born later has had it explained to them at a barbecue. This badge is that run turned into a light: the wreath, the "1st BATHURST '82 '83 '84" lettering, the HDT mark, and the COMMODORE V8 bar underneath.
The face is a deep HDT blue with the whole design cut in crisp white, so when it is lit the wreath and lettering sit bright against the dark blue and the red of the HDT mark catches the glow. It stands on its own weighted plinth, no wall fixing needed, which makes it the sort of piece that ends up on a desk or a shelf where people can actually pick it up and turn it over.
- Circular badge face with the laurel wreath, "1st BATHURST '82 '83 '84" and the red HDT mark
- Free-standing plinth base carrying the COMMODORE V8 bar
- Deep blue face with white cut-out design, edge-lit so the lettering glows instead of the background washing out
- Perfect for the shed, the man cave, the garage wall, or the Holden fan who can name the co-driver without thinking about it
